talent! is reconfirmed as an Investor in People
It’s not an easy thing to do. But, after a thorough assessment of our organisation, which included in-depth interviews with staff, we’ve emerged as an Investor in People all over again. Our ability to retain staff – many of them home grown – was one of the clear signs of our success in a notoriously volatile employment market. The report summed up by saying “talent! remains committed to the development of its people. The assessor was impressed with the positive attitude of people and the consistency of opinion.”
Lindsay Gallard, Recruitment and Training Manager, details the reasons for the excellent outcome. “Our recent Investors In People re-assessment came back with some great reviews,” he says. “Firstly, that we continue to lead the field in training and developing our staff; secondly, that our commitment to communication and feedback has created a winning team culture; and thirdly, and most importantly, that our success, based on our staff’s contribution to and participation in company strategy and direction, is proof that diversity in action works.”
