Reaching further in the south east
at work wins opportunity to help key equality groups in Lewisham
Lewisham’s ‘Opening Doors’ has picked at work to deliver a job brokerage service as part of their ‘Routes to Employment’ project. at work will help at least 30 residents, including women, lone parents and candidates from BME communities, into sustainable employment in the south east London borough. Financed by the Urban Renaissance in Lewisham SRB fund, the project will also offer employability support, advice and guidance to the borough’s residents.
Over the life of the contract, which runs from September 2006 to March 2007, at work will partner with a number of organisations including Jobcentre Plus, Community Education Lewisham and the 170 Community Project.
